Gotta remember to keep an eye on her and see where she's going and what she's up to as we are in the middle of the
projected path.
Not a lot else going on. Went into Pensacola today with Gavin so we could go to Toys 'R Us to get gift ideas for his birthday and Christmas. Know exactly which bike will be the Santa gift this year.
This is the one Gavin chose. I was a little surprised (and quite pleased) that he didn't go for a character bike.
Now I just have to add the things that really caught his interest to the Christmas idea list and send it off to family members. I'll admit I'm procrastinating on it a little bit as I've already spent a bunch of time looking at the list and am a little tired of it.
While I was in Pensacola I picked up a electric heating blanket for Gavin's bed since his room is the coldest in the house. You got to see how hubby was a softy on Halloween (he was Luigi instead of "Dark Knight" Joker). Well I was a softy last night when Gavin looked at me with his big blue eyes and said "Can I sleep in your room Mommy? Mine's cold." How can you say no to that? While we were gone today I left his blinds cracked open, letting some light in (rather than them being closed all day like normal) and his room was actually a bit warmer when he headed to bed tonight. Though looking at the low temp observed yesterday (42°F) and the forecast for tonight (54°F) it might explain some of the added warmth as well.
I think I'm gonna go curl up in the bed with the book I'm reading and enjoy the quiet cool air coming in the window before I go to sleep. Night!
