Think pink!
New layout for October. It's based off a birthstone for October, the Pink Tourmaline. At the same time it could be said it is pink for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Brest Cancer Awareness is something that has taken on a bittersweet tone for me. My Aunt is a brest cancer survivor (so I need to watch out for it). She isn't the only brest cancer survivor related to me though. My brother's mother-in-law was a survivor before she died in a car accident in late May.
I'd been thinking of donating to a charity for a while now so I finally decided to do a one-time "In Memory" donation. Shannon will be getting the notification card in the mail, and I'm not telling her that it's coming.
