A little interview

Feb 08, 2007 14:14

1. Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me."
2. I respond by asking you five personal questions so I can get to know you better! If I already know you well, expect the questions may be a little more intimate!
3. You WILL update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.

1. What about your kid and being a mother surprises you the most?
How Gavin is so much his own little person, especially now as he is in the "terrible twos". He has always been an independent little boy and I'm thinking he always will be. I still can't believe I'm a mother sometimes.

2. What is your favorite movie or book and why?
Oh wow this one is going to be a hard one to answer considering the number of books and movies I own. If I had to pick a book I could always read again and again I would have to say "Bedlam's Bard" by Mercedes Lackey because it's just such a fun beginning to a series and features an Elven prince awakened at a Renaissance Faire of all places. That reminds me I think I'm missing a book of short stories set in Ren Faires - Grr.

As for a favorite movie I'll go with "The Princess Bride" because I love the way the movie was done with the Grandfather reading to his Grandson and the Grandson's imagination running away with the story. Plus there are some really great lines from the movie.

3. What would your ideal date be?
Oh wow, hmm, haven't actually had a date with the hubby in a while. Let's see dinner and a movie followed by a walk on the beach.

4. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be and why or why not?
Oh that's easy my weight. I hate the fact that I'm 5'2" and weigh 175. Course all that means is I just need to exercise, but I'm a bad procrastinator. Wait maybe I better say the one thing I wish I could change is to not be a procrastinator.

5. What do you think you'll be doing when you're 64?
Hopefully living happy and healthy with my family where ever that may be.
