Happy Birthday Baby Boy!
Gavin and I went over to visit with Mom, Dad, Piet, Shannon and Lorren for his first birthday party. The first part of the day was spent helping Mom do some last minute shopping. Then we watched the AU/UA game (War Eagle, baby!) After Piet got home from work we still had to wait on Shannon so birthday stuff didn't actually happen until 7:30 p.m.-ish, meaning Gavin really wasn't up for playing in his cake or helping unwrap his presents. The fact that he may have be starting to come down with something may have played into that as well. druidmage had impeccable timing and called while we were opening presents so he got to wish Gavin a happy birthday too.
Both of us have come home with fevers and I also have stopped up sinuses. Gavin got lots of goodies which I'll have to snap some shots of him playing with his new toys when he's feeling better. It's raining right now and the power has already blipped off once so I think I'm gonna keep this short. Plus I need to go try and find something to drink that won't keep me awake for the rest of the night.
P.S. I know the photo's kinda fuzzy, grainy. It's from the low res disk they give you at Walmart. After the real prints are in I plan on replacing it with the good quality version. New version added 12-13-05.
P.P.S. Not too much longer before druidmage gets to come home. Still just an estimated return time, but its one I can live with. I can't wait to have him home!
