But no, really, I'm proud of you, brother. You take the shit, and you end up smiling. And really, that's what it's all about. You either let it beat your ass or you beat its ass. Darwinian-sounding, yes, but when it all boils down to its essence those are your options.
And I know all the exercising has to do with wanting to be in top form once you start letting the ladies ride on the Great Space Coaster.

I'm feelin' pretty good about things nowadays. Fingers crossed that I'll stay this way for awhile. As far as the "ladies" go. In time my friend, in time. I am in no rush. Gotta get my closet reorganized first.
Maybe one of those plastic coated mesh shelf things. You know the ones. With the shoe racks, and the neck tie hooks, and all the little drawers. That would be cool.
