Quality? May be, attitude needs revamp.

Questions: What should we do about quality? 'They' are lazy; not up to the mark. Etc, etc.

Me pondering: Only solution I see now is attitude revamp. But then this is kinda impossible solution. Why? It has taken toll of 15+ years to get into bad shape. How can it be worked over in a fortnight, month or an year?

There have been lot of suggestions about introducing different techniques. Most of them talk about making sure 'they' work. But then we don't want 'them' doing donkey-work (work without understanding the essence). After all it's _quality_ that is bothering you, right?

Looks like you are targeting right problem with wrong tool(s), aiming in wrong direction. Your concern is appreciated. Your efforts are counted. But the results may not be pleasing enough unless you get in better position. Seek right tools. Identify the culprit. A warrior as good as you will not lose this time.
