Let down by 2gud
2gud.com was my source of purchases for laptops and mobile phones. At least that was the idea till 5g becomes matured, to not invest in any of the current generation phones as they would be deemed useless post launch of 5g. One of the motivation for buying gadgets online was easy return thingy. In my last purchase, some $hitty seller "Flashstar Commerce" from faridabad, sent a phone with extreme scratches on the metal body near the glass display, right at top as well as bottom. This sort of thing can be expected from their "Okay" grading but not "good" grading.
Since the day of delivery, I have been attempting to return this item for refund. There have been 4 attempts and 2gud has denied return of it again and again under different pretext. First time they sent some jeeves technician who was super rude with a belittling attitude. Second time and third time they claimed that their courier person has assured delivery was intact. While I have been questioning them on their claims of 47 quality checks for deciding the grade, they have been deflecting the point to something else entirely. Wrote to flipkart folks as they are owner of this company and they reverted back with standard reply on how to return using 2gud website.
Basically a not very costly lesson for me. Hopefully this will induce judicious purchase making in me while avoiding 2gud and flipkart altogether for any purchase in future.
