Thank you so much, dear Paytm :)

10K cashback as refund was issued by Paytm on 31st Jan. I was checking out the details in the wallet when I noticed "refund" button next to that particular transaction. I clicked it thinking that it would show me some sort of explanation about the transaction nature but next thing I knew was that it initiated refund back to my debit card. Seeing 10K vanish with an ambiguous notification about refund got me all riled up. I ended up shooting few mails to their customer care who could not help me with it till end. Eventually wrote to their grievance officer around 11 in morning. By 4 pm, the money was credited to my debit card. So even though the cashback which usually comes within 24 hours of shipping came to me almost 25 days later but I honestly can't complain about it. All cashback offers of snapdeal/amazon/flipkart have a payback period of minimum two months. 25 days is nothing. So here I am all happy and relieved to finally get my bikey at effective price of 13,675 bucks. Oh, did I tell you this? Bluedart folks gave me octroi bill along with the invoice copy in which apparently they paid in excess of 700 bucks before entering Mumbai municipality. And they did not take a single penny from us. So to be fair, that 500 rs shipping kinda strike itself off. If I count that kind gesture and/or good will of bluedart/paytm, the price of bikey drops down further to 12950 bucks. What a lovely bike in that kind of price.

Thank you Paytm, Luthra cycle store (the supplier) and bluedart. I am in awe of you all three. I take back all my ill words about Paytm from my past blogs. To be honest, their customer care surely needs some improvement but if you look at the kind of mind blowing deals they came out with in last 1 year, I gotta give it to them! Folks, I owe to you big time. Loving that deal, loving this bike and loving the rides :)
