Festival greetings

Happy Dusshera to everyone.

Though it's not my favorite festival only for the reasons that society showed how ugly could it be at the end of the day. I am sure Rama would have cursed himself for returning back to Ayodhaya after winning over Ravana. And like my friend once said to me, no matter who won in that battle, it was Sita who lost everything eventually. Rama's vanvaas was over in 14 years whereas Sita's vanvaas continued forever. And the more hurting thing? Authors of scripts came out with multiple weird excuses trying to cover wrong acts of Rama and/or the society.

I feel sorry for the society which remained ugly since the time of its inception. Since the early days people have enjoyed gossiping, passing ugly references toward others and in a way have stayed an inhumane lot. I wish there be no hypocrisy, people stop 'worrying' about others and focus on acts of their own self. May we better our gods and not use their failures as an excuse to repeat the same in ours. Amen.
