Are we there yet?

Yes! Finally, yes. If I were to only represent my development team members, we had done it in somewhere mid October 2007 itself. Since then we were waiting for other things to finish. For whatever (internal) reasons/complications, things just didn't progress the way they were to. But nevertheless, overcoming all sorts of difficulties and then with great support from our other family members (DIT and STQC), NSDG solution was finally released on August 14, 2008. Amidst all these exciting moments of joy, the only thing that hurts is... I don't have any picture to share! Argh!!

NSDG development turned out to be one helluva of experience. Learned so many lessons. Saw my mentor, Sandhya Desai, leaving out before me. Had never imagined that I would be working outside her shadow. Saw DAKE changing into SENG. Saw a family of 8 turning into family of 30. I feel so blessed that everything just fell in right line. I found my mentors in ED Sir and Urja. My family of 30 is blessed with great brains and great hearts. Self-motivated, passionate souls. Can't tell you how easy and comfortable it becomes, when your team takes up the responsibility and drives it all. I am one blessed soul :)

The Project is now into Operations phase. But the responsibilities are many fold. We would be playing important role for promoting this solution across all states and various central government departments. New set of challenges. I am confident that my team would gear up for this responsibility and give their best to it.

Talking of projects, there's one (CFFES) we are working in parallel to NSDG. Then there are two proposals to prepare and submit within a months time. Yeah, there's enough in plate to keep us busy. But kya karen... Yeh dil (n tummy) maange more :P

Happy independence day to all. May we all find it, respect it and sustain it forever.
