Me wonders. Me wonders about life. Me wonders about death. Life - uncertain. Death - certain. Life - hope. Death - ?. Death, I guess, is the final answer to all questions. by that time we'll be lying in our warm beds, wrinkled hands, dimed eyesight and the same ol' LJ on our laptops binding us together, only the context of posts would change : there would be announcements of fellow LJers' deaths!

With the recent death of someone closest to me, I'd begun thinking that when you're born, you're given this big vessel full of love, innocence, people who love you, care about you, are elder to you. As you grow up, one by one you begin to lose those "nice" things, persons who mean the world to you, that vessel starts getting empty gradually, until finally you are at the giving end for someone else younger to you. Kind of like an hourglass... a lot of the small stuff doesn't seem as important then, if you think of the bigger picture. It helps me keep very calm during rather adverse times...
