Informing of CFPs on LJ habit fetched me CFP in comment
This incident invoked surprise and interest. First lemme give some background on this.
I am subscribed to various mailing list and communities off LJ. People mail CFP info on such mailing lists. Whatever I receive, on most occasions, makes it to LJ. Like this one. 3 months down the line, my post received in comment a notification of another CFP on I-commerce.
The interesting part was to receive CFP notification as comment. The surprising part is how the fellow reached to LJ and my blog. What query in search engine would lead him/her to my page. Besides, it makes sense to see someone posting such things on any LJ community. Tracking down the IP has lead to University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
BTW, Vangelis is awesome and Islands of the orient is worth listening too.
