Update time!
Ok, so lets see...
SWIFT transport royally screwed me over, Once you go through their school they "guarantee" employment, they just didn't say when. I have to go through this mentorship program in order to drive for them, and they just plum run out of mentors, so after two months of waiting i got tired of it and said screw this, i'm going elsewhere. So for right now, I've been accepted to take a job as a shuttle driver at childrens hospital, for those who don't know, it's like 3 minute drive from my house. So it works in my favor.
Secondly, My jeep has been rear-ended, in my own driveway, shoved through my garage door which happened to be closed at the time, and punching the car that was in front of my jeep, the Avalon, pushing it about 2 inches forward. Both vehicles are in need of repair. My jeep is on the brink of being totalled. I actually got some info today that told me what i should do. Basically it's looking like i'm $1500 over the cost of the car, meaning that it would be totalled if i said repair it as is. But there is things i can say not to repair it such as the front bumper. Considering that it went through the garage and punched the avalon, it doesn't look that way at all. So I'm happy about that. Additional things like replacing a fog light, and matching color paint, if i don't care about that, and say not to replace the lights, or the bumper, i could probably shave a little off that $1500 off and not get it totalled. Now with that being said, i'd probably turn around and sell it anyway. The Rails (Frame the car sits on) have been severly bent due to my tow hitch being attached and hit, are totally screwed and would need to be replaced, there's body work that needs to be done, and they havn't even torn down to the bare bones to see structural integrity which if i decided to repair it, would be coming out of my own pocket, for reasons as it doesn't get totalled, But as sad as it is to say, I'm inclined to total it anyway. I'm thinking that if i do get it repaired, i would have to pretty it up, and sell it for less than what i'd get if i declared it totalled, and sell it for around $5000-$6000, plus i'd have to strip, and ugh, repair the leaks, and it's just not worth the hassle. I'd be much better off financially if i declared it totalled. So that's what i'm going to do. Once i strip the lights, and whatever else i want, they are going to tow it away on a tow truck. Besides, the Jeep i want is much more suited for my needs :) I'm lovin it :)
That is all i can think to write for now.
