marriage??????
So I've been trying to figure out a way to tell everyone this in person but I don't think it'll work so I'm just gonna post it.! Matthew and I are ENGAGED!!!!!! Matthew proposed on Monday while we were out Camping in the woods. We were in Washington Memorial State park in Gloster RI and were planning to camp 2 days. Matthew was quiet the whole time we were travelling. I asked if he was o.k. figuring he was stressed out about Physics and stuff. he said he was o.k. As soon as we arrived Matthew wanted to go for a hike. I told him NO! the first rule of camping is to set up camp! so after we arranged everything properly we chose a trail from a map of the park. Walkabout Trail is the name. we passed by a beatutiful beach, and quiet marshes and took pictures of the new fiddle head ferns sprouting. A couple group pics along the way. Then we hit the mosquito area and had to flee for a while. I was hot sweaty feeling gross and ugly. We approached this Beautiful Marsh with Mossy floor and Bright green trees that let the sun beam through them. I was tired and cranky by this time but matthew wanted "Just a few more pics" so he set up the camera and took another shot of the two of us. He said "Just one more" and went back to set it up. he came back and knelt down on one knee, and proposed as the camera clicked. I was stunned. the only words that could come out of my mouth were "O MI GOD" and "HOLY SHIT". so for a good minute, that's all I could say. That freaked Matthew out and I finally uttered the words "Yes". then he brought out the ring. Wow. I'm so happy. no plans yet on date. But what an amazing way to Propose. I couldn't have asked for a better way.
