As we come to the conclusion of another year, I have come to realize many things. I guess each year we learn more and more about ourselves and the people around us and form there we make the best of what we have. Hopefully, next year we can improve on what we need to from the year before. Anyways...

1) With friends and family, what more do you need?
2) College isn't as bad as I thought it would be. Hell, it may even be easier than high school.
3) Going away for school seems like it'd be more fun, but there are as many opportunities back home as well.
4) Coaching a bunch of 5th graders requires a lot of patience. It's like they forget everything after they walk out of the gymnasium.
5) Resolutions are for those who want to fail. Why not make one every day/week/month, rather than for the whole year. I bet you'd get more accomplished that way. Then, at the end of the year, it will all come together and form into the bigger picture.
6) Christmas isn't about receiving gifts. I honestly didn't ask for anything for Christmas, but I sure did spend some good money on those I love. I could live without luxury I assume. My life is fine the way it is for now.
7) All the hot chicks are at the mall come Christmas time... haha
8) MIP's suck and sorry to those I know who got them. It's all good.
9) Canada is a beautiful country, but still sucks in my book. I still think we are better. We're just using them for their exchange rate and lower drinking age.
10) Snow sucks and so does my truck in it. Took me an hour to move it from the street into the driveway.
11) Being stuck on something/someone isn't worth it. It just makes you miserable, consumes your time, and drives you insane. Fuck that, I'm done.
12) After making some money from my job, I still haven't bought anything nice for myself. I'd rather see others around me happy. It's just how it is.
13) However unsafe I believe Detroit is (2nd dangerous city in US), I still miss the hell out of it because I wake up for class at least an hour earlier and traffic can be a bitch.
14) Meeting new people even if it only lasts for that moment is fun in itself. You'll never know who you're going to meet and how long it will last.
15) Maintaining a daily routine is harder than I thought it would be. I definitely don't have time/energy to go to the gym anymore.
16) Women are bitches. They'll never change and some aren't worth as much as you think they are. However, those ladies who are all that don't appear it until it is too late.
17) Having a bro in the Marines sucks when you know that Christmas is the last time you'll see him before he goes to Iraq. Good luck bro.
18) Grandparents are probably the most special people in your life. However, I never really realized this until my last one (grandma) is in the hospital with a broken shoulder and pelvis, and having her shoulder replace with titanium. Get better soon grandma.
19) Everyday I drive past a person who lives under a bridge in Detroit off the Lodge going North after getting off from 75. And everyday it is a reminder of how fortunate I truly am to be blessed with everything I have.
20) There's always next year...

Alright so that's only a few, but enough for this year. There's always room for improvement, but we still have a week to make this year a good one. And if I don't see you over the break, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. But call me and I'll make time for you. Don't be a stranger, I'm always sittin at home lookin for something to do. ;-)
