woa..due for an update
So it's been a long time since last updating events surrounding life these days. It's been a relatively busy semester so far, classes are going ok I guess. Much of my focus has been on my education class and discrete math. If it's what needs to be done to survive the course, then i guess ill be up at the learning center alot this semester to keep pumping away at discrete math, I would love to get a minimum B in that class, although higher would be ecstatic. Other than that 2 guaranteed A's for the semester and a couple crappy grades as well, history just blows, i really hate having to take all these history courses, i always suck at them as its proving right now. Discrete seems to be the so called 'swing grade' course as its unpredictable at what grade i could possibly be getting in it. I've managed to actually have down time once every so often just to relax inbetween work and classes, just overall been really busy, but right now i dont think thats really bad for me at all, just as long as it doesn't get out of hand for me. Busy is good for me 'cas it prevents me from getting too bored, inwhich getting too bored leads to major slacking and other things as well. Other than working alot back at home at denny's, i also work night desk for eisenhower thursday mornings midnight-330am which is great for me, i get alot of work done. This is the only week so far I've had to get a sub for my shift to cover for me as I was extremly drained from studying for all the exams i've had to take this week, and the catch-up on sleep was just amazing! I also am working hard in the student group, bacchus, and like i said before, once in a long time i happen to get a break.
Fall break also is only a few more weeks away, cannot wait for that. Ill be home to work that thursday and friday, then taking vacation paid time-off for the remainder of that long weekend, oo great times coming during that break, as well as a ton of sleep!!
Well i gotta be heading to bed to get some sleep, got myself a very long weekend of work, just hope it flys by. Have a good one everybody, hopefully updating soon enough! Later!
