it's been a while..
So it's once again been a while since last updating this thing, as it has been getting busier and busier as each day keeps going by now. Past couple of weeks have been really fun. Two weekends ago was my co-worker's bachelor party which was a ton of fun while also spending nearly $200.00 all in the same night haha. Then last Saturday was my older brother's 25th birthday party so I went over there for the night after getting out of work to hang out there as he had a bunch of people over from work and his hockey team. That then turned into yet another good night of poker. Then last sunday I went back down to Olean to stay down there through this past Tuesday latenight to hang with Josh and Adam from fredonia along with a couple of their friends I got to meet. That was a ton of fun as well. We actually ended up playing Halo on x-box until 6:30 am tuesday morning, then sleeping from then until only 10 am as we had alot of stuff to do and such, so that was a quick 3 1/2 hours of sleep. Then I was going to come home early in the evening to get some sleep before needing to be up at 6am for work on wednesday, but I ended up staying until after 10pm as we all had dinner at his parents house again and for the type of dinner, we simply couldnt give it up, 3 cheese pierogie (sp?) along with BLT's. So I didnt even get home until after 11:30pm tuesday night, and not making it to bed until nearly 2am. So by the time last night arrived, I was completly dead off of 7 1/2 hours of sleep in like 3 days. Today was my sleeping in day to help catch up on some of those hours, sleeping for nearly 13 hours, would have been more if i didnt get phone calls on my cell haha. And today I finally, after being on the phone for almost 3 hours straight, got my laptop ordered for school from Dell. Stupid technology these days kept denying my credit card so it had to be done 3-way over the phone with dell and my credit card company, but I wont recieve it until what apparently seems to be friday, august 12th, only giving me a week to mess around with it until going back to fredonia. I've also been busy ordering a bunch of other stuff including a router for the house and a wireless router for the dorm...that's what, the suitemate's and I are hooking up our suite for wireless!! Then it'll be officially the lazy man's suite for what we're bringing in for the year hehe. I also happened to recieve good news from fredonia as I am lucky enough yet again to get another grant to attend school for next year from the state besides my tap, making it 3 grants in total that I'm recieveing along with my usual 2 student loans from the government, but reducing my loan debt a little for this year, only like $6,800 or so in debt for the coming year, which is greatly appreciated of seeing freshman year screwed me over big time with loans and this takes me up to like 20,000 or so in debt to pay back :/ But I'll also be getting my usual refund each semester to help me pay the bills so I can stay down there to focus more and what not and not work as much yet again, like 25 hours a week or so probably except for the first month through nearly the end of september when I'll still be working about 40 hours a week as I have nothing on Tuesdays until then so thats a 12 hour day of work there for me to help.
Other than that, it just keeps getting busier and busier as the summer really is starting to come to a close, as I have alot of cleaning/organizing and what not of my room and such and a ton of other things to do around here prior to leaving for school. And this next week will pass so friggen fast as I'm stuck working overnight's beginning tonight through sunday night straight as people are all taking their paid vacations before I leave, isn't that sad, they rely on me for them to take paid vacations 'cas we remain so short staffed all the time, but o well what you gonna do about that? I mean I won't complain about the bits of overtime I keep getting every week, an hour here, and hour there, half-hour here and there and what not. This i think will be like my 12th straight week of 40 hours minimum, didn't think I'd last that long haha.
But anyways, I gotta get going, time to get ready for the first overnight in a long time, and its gonna suck 'cas thursday nights are always dam busy. Talk to you all later!..22 days remain
