(no subject)
My upstairs neighbor's washer somehow flooded his kitchen (but not his laundry room) and all the water has now leaked into our kitchen via the air conditioning vent and this one small light. It's really odd how it leaked, it was only leaking from these two places and no where else. So anyways, we were getting ready to go to bed and we heard this water dripping sound. I thought it was spanky's tank, and then it got louder. Andy asked me if I was hearing it and I told him yeah, and then all of a sudden the flood gates broke and all this water started streaming into our kitchen. Luckily one of the places was right over the sink and the other place I caught w/my two buckets. I kept yelling for andy to go upstairs and tell him and he finally answered his door. He had no idea that it had happened until he stepped into his kitchen and there was an inch of water on the floor and now it's all in his carpet too. It finally stopped dripping and he's calling a plumber tomorrow to find out exactly what is leaking b/c we don't really know exactly what's going on. We're also going to find out who to call to get our ceiling looked at to see if we need to get anything fixed. There are a few spots in the ceiling and then it's wet around the small light and the vent from where it dripped, but other than that everything is fine. God, I need a drink now. More importantly I need to go to bed. At least I don't have work tomorrow.
