yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawn
last night was quite possibly one of the best nights i've ever had. it started out like crap though. we went from partly sunny skies, to sheets of what forrest gump called "big ol' fat rain". then the resteraunt everyone from pha was eating at screwed up. we paid for everything in advance, food, drinks, salads, etc. beforehand, and EVERYTHING was supposed to be ready when we got there. NOTHING was ready when we got there. it took them 2 and a half hours to bring amanda some fried shrimp and french fries. i think that i sufficiently let them know i wasn't please...and i didn't even have to roundhouse kick anybody.
but anywho, the prom itself ruled. we had a lot of fun, and amanda made it that much more great. i cannot stress how much fun i had, and sober at that. then we went to allana's house (joe and allana rode with us) and we all watched dumb and dumber until 3 in the morning. then we passed out.
denny, allana's dad, let me set his cell phone alarm to six. why? because i had to be in charleston this morning at 9 for college open house. amanda went with me and my mom, which definitely made the trip bearable (my mom's...unique). csu is great. i'm pretty certain it's where i'm supposed to be going. nice campus, nice professors, nice environment, free tshirts everywhere. yeah, i think i will ike college.
so now i go to slumber since i've had 3 hours sleep all weekend thus far (i had to dj our middle school's social tonight...which was boring, because no one my age could make it), and have church and we're playing at open arms tomorrow night. so yeah, i should go to sleep.
i'm so blessed. i'm so loved. i'm so happy.
