[A pause for: lying would be so much easier right now.]

You told me. You've lost years of memory and life; a temporarily effect of the ship we're on. You'll be back to yourself in a few days. In the meantime, I can make you some breakfast and we can go back to your own room and talk or walk around so that you can see I'm not lying.

[HRM. He's being very forthright. That seems like a good thing.]

...How did I know you're not lying now? How can the ship do that?

I don't know. [Please don't be super-powered lie detecting children. :C] It just does.

Leave the room and go to the hall. Can you do that? I'll find you there.

[He pauses, all kinds of thoughtful. Shego said he was supposed to help some guy named Sylar, but...Well maybe that's this guy's last name. Or maybe he's helping two people. Or something. And he IS kind of hungry. So he nods.]

Okay. Are you in the hall?

[He's worried about Tim associating "Sylar" with "killer." :C]

[Sylar arrives a moment later, as promised, and spots the child almost immediately near Shego's room. He's in jeans and a blue button-down, trying to look less threatening than normal; an odd experience.] "Tim."

[Tim's clothing choices are from back when it was cool to wear button down flannels over tee shirts, but it's still worn in the same way: he never has anything with brand names splashed across his clothes, but they're all on the expensive side. He notices Sylar before he even calls his name.]

[Sylar cringes very slightly at the use of his name.] "Yeah. Are you ready?"

[He's already turning back toward the way he came from to take them down to the kitchen. Although it's not the time for a meal, he trusts Paddy to let him cook some waffles under supervision.]
