open letter to my representative
To the Honorable Representative Russ Carnahan
Dear Representative Carnahan,
When I first voted in 2006 and when I voted in 2008 I voted for Democratic candidates. I was proud to. I felt the Democratic party and its members had a strong commitment to the issues I felt important, including the one about which I write to you today. Health care. Particularly H.R. 676.
H.R. 676 will expand, consolidate, and provide universal health care to all Americans. I have watched a dear friend (in your district) go without health care because their employer delayed granting insurance, or provided inadequate insurance. This is one of the reasons so many young voters like my friend and I voted for Democrats like yourself in the past two elections.
