It's been a long time ...
Yes, it's been another long time since I've updated but before I go on I would like to say HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAYS TO CATHY & APRIL. Heehee ...
So what's been up with me these past few weeks? Let's see ... My cousins came, had a great time ... gathering's, around the island trip, etc. They're gone now. My life is back to normal and I miss them. Work, is boring. I dread going to work because as soon as I get there, I want to go home. I think after 3 months of work, it's finally hitting me ... I really really really really miss Kayla now. Sometimes I feel like crying when I'm at work because I just want to go home and play with my daughter. *sigh* Some people say it's 'cause I'm lonely at work, pretty much being the only employee and non-Chinese one at that. I actually want to go back to school now because I NEED a change of environment. I NEED to see new faces and be able to actually TALK to them. Hahaha ... Yes I am a social being and I need to be around people. LOL ...
My family's planning a reunion in the Philippines in 2006. It's gonna be a blast. We're actually gonna visit all these places that you read about in books and brochures. Hahaha ... I can't wait. My cousin who's coordinating the trip asked me to help him build a website for the family to keep in touch and to keep them aware about the developments. Oh yeah, how could I forget ... I cut and colored my hair a couple of weeks ago you guys. It's auburnish/brown and I have bangs now. Hahaha ... Yep ... I should post up a pic. I'll post up that pic from Pacific Grill but you can't really see the bangs 'cause I had it clipped but yeah, I'll post it up anyway.
Hmm ... Oh and Kayla ... Man she is growing up fast. I bought her these books and too my amazement she can tell me what MOST of the pictures are of ... She knows ball, umbrella, leaves, bugs, frog, duck, door, apple, balloon, clock, airplane, butterfly, baby, banana, ball, bus, book, shirt, chair, cat, cup, TV, car, dog, bird, fish, flower, truck, horse, hand, lizard, socks, shoes, bear, chicken, slide, pants, and shorts ... Hahahaha ... She really picks up fast. And she's learning her colors already too. She knows yellow, white, and orange because those are easy colors. Blue, red, purple, and green she still mixes up because they look the same sometimes. Oh my Kayla, she's not my baby anymore. I took her to the mall too and she rode the train all by herself!!! And when we rode the carousel, we each rode our own horse. She's so independent. Hahaha ... I'll post up pics of that too. Is this normal? But Kayla likes hot cheetos! She can actually eat about four pieces before needing a drink. Hahahaha ... Her birthday is coming up soon, she's turning 2 on October 23. I definitely don't have the cash for a big party so I'm thinking about having it at either McDonald's or Whimsy's. Jun doesn't want it at McDonald's though. He says it's ghetto. Hahaha ... But my sister said they renovated the playground so it's better. He said he'd rather have it at Whimsy's. Idk ... I have to make some calls. Crap ... I have no money!!! Jun's birthday is coming up too in September. I want to get him an X-Box but I don't have the money for that either :(. Aiiii ...
Last night Jun had a barbecue at the house. I went shopping for it since he was at work. I bought some shortribs and boneless shortribs and this kalbi marinade because I love kalbi. Anyway, it actually tastes like kalbi so I think I'm going to be buying that more often. I'm going to my grandma's house as usual for dinner tonight. Then I'm going to my sister-in-law Marilou's house afterwards. I bought some tiramisu cake 'cause I feel bad. Jun's sister and sister-in-law always have dinner on Sundays and I don't contribute anything. I feel like I'm freeloading. I want to start having dinners at my house but my grandma already has something on Sunday. Maybe Saturday or Monday. We'll see ... I'll think about it more when I finally have a couch for them to sit on first. Hahaha ... Okay. I guess this is my update until who knows how long. Take care you guys!
