Family Time ...
Okay ... So it's been another while since I've posted. Let's see ... Lots of stuff to write about but I don't know where to start so I'm just gonna write as I think.
My cousins from Cali arrived on Thursday. Remember how I said we had to chip in about $100 per family? Well, they added another $30 bucks to that plus $15 per head for the buffet at Jeff's Pirates Cove. So my total was $145. Thursday, I got off early about 30 minutes so I could take my cousin to Jamaican Grill to pick up the food we ordered. My sister and the kids came along. Then we went to my Uncle's house and set up all the food. Man there was a lot of food, lechon and everything. Anyway, it was fun. We all hid and when they arrived we were all like "surprise!" Hahaha ... I have some pics of that. My cousin Gary had his own little prank to play on them. I don't know the whole story but I heard there was a hidden camera somewhere in the car when he picked them up. Anyway, we'll see footage of that soon.
They also brought my laptop. I'm finally using it now. I've had it since Thursday, the day they arrived but Kayla broke out in a rash and I had to take care of that. Man that was her very first rash and I was unprepared. I had to borrow caladryl from my auntie and benadryl from my cousin so she could sleep because she just kept scratching and scratching. You can still see a little bit of it but it's gone down a lot since the first day. I think Friday was worse. It was all over her body. My poor baby.
I'm getting the hang of this laptop. I'm in love with it. I'd tell you the specs but I won't. If you really want to know just ask. It's a Toshiba A75-S226 if you want to look it up. Hahaha ... I just need to get used to the keyboard not being raised and my arms having to be rested flat. You know what I mean.
So today we had that Around The Island thing. Jun didn't go as usual ... That's all ... don't want to start again now. Hahahaha ... Anyway, instead of a Trolley though we rented a bus with airconditioning and everything. Good thing we did otherwise we'd be super sweating in that Trolley. I have pics that I'll either post up in separate blog entry or just give you the link to Ofoto or Yahoo Pictures. Idk ... Or both ... We'll see ... It was lots of fun. I just wish more of my cousins from the mainland came. Then it would have been SUPER fun. Hahaha ... My cousins are crazy. I love them so much. I miss them too. *sigh* The last time we had a get together I think was in 2001 when we had a Hawaii/California reunion. Eight out of ten of my dad's siblings and their families came to Hawaii for my cousins wedding and we all stayed at the same hotel. You can imagine what that was like. Then after that we went to California to visit their homes and stuff.
I think I'm gonna end here. I'm debating on whether or not I should bring my laptop to work. Hahaha ... I think I will just in case it's not busy. Check back soon for those pics. There's lots!
