And the winner is... Mr. Potato Head
Well I think it's about time to write about the past few days. If you haven't noticed, I like to write random things as the subjects (when I do write subjects). If you think about it, Mr. Potato Head is the luckiest potato- as much as babies slobber on him, he never gets eaten (well maybe the occasional dog chews... but he's never completely gone).
Let's see... Thursday, July 15th I went to the fair with my parents and to Exotic Thai. The fair was cool. I saw a few people I knew, but mostly just played with the animals. I think we all know my carny opinion, so it's safe to say I didn't ride the rides. I did play with a cow and a few goats. I watched them auction off like 5 goats (a few cows and pigs). For those of you who don't know, I like animals- especially goats, turtles, and ducks. Anyway, I stole food from one goat to hand feed another, the same with the "friendly" cow who tried more than once to kiss me.
After the fair Thursday, I came home, hung around my house, talked to a few friends on the phone, and then got online to talk to Daniel. We talked for awhile, and then said goodnight, since we were both really tired and for some reason were both being stubborn about getting offline. I talked to Amy and Rach while online, but those 2 didn't have a whole lot to say... Rach was on her cell phone kick...
Friday morning I woke up and took my car down to the glass place to get the windshield replaced so we can sell it. It needs cleaned out, that's on today's agenda. Friday morning the flooring guy also came to put down underlayment for our kitchen floor. So we're now remodeling that room between the time he gets the underlayment and the flooring down. He was loud, the dog was annoying, shot my morning. I went to look at a new cell phone as mine was broken, argued with my mom about the phone, and eventually came to the conclusion that my parents cannot be pleased nor swayed. I called Rachie and Amy and talked to Rachie for awhile. I miss those girls! It was storming Friday night, so I didnt stay online or anything- I headed to bed early.
Saturday was a boring day full of chores and nothingness until Michelle called. We headed to the mall and ended up buying purses (Impulse buys go back- sorry Michelle, I can't do it!). Now my next statement is mean, but OH WELL. We walked past Auntie Anne's on the way to DEB and saw the funniest site... Ms. "I'm better than you.." works at Auntie Anne's. Not only that, but she's gained A TON OF WEIGHT. It made me laugh... While in DEB, I saw some cute clothes, so I may find one in Indy for one of the days I head up there this Aug to look around in. Coming out of DEB I saw someone- CHARLIE- AKA ELIZABETH. I haven't seen her in forever, though I have missed her. Some of you don't know her, so here's the scoop...
I met Elizabeth way back in 7th gr. We worked as CITs at the YWCA day camp. Everybody called her Charlie, and everybody called me Linus. We became really close, really fast. We were there together for like 2 summers, and then after that we still made time for each other. We hung out all the time during the summer, and a lot during the school yr too. We had the Chicken Nugget Road and the Turtle on the Roof for our amusement. We kinda drifted apart towards the end of high school, but I've always considered her a friend.
After the mall we went to Applebees and then on to KMart (Michelle and I). Drove around talked, hung out... Had some fun. Mostly did what we always do. I've got to stop spending so much money, hence the impulse buys going back. I'm just not good at spending money. Besides, I do plan to blow some cash when it comes time for school... Well prior.
I came home and talked to Daniel, Amy, and Brad online for awhile. Amy is a sneaky pete and decided to do some chatting of her own. Silly girl is looking for a slow and painful death :) Daniel asked if we could talk on the phone at some point- DUH, OF COURSE! Sometimes boys are so silly! Brad was asking me about which TV to pick... I'm like "whichever is prettiest." Sorry Baby Brad, but I'm a girl- I think pretty. Michael eventually got on, we talked for a few minutes, but I was ready to go to bed.
The more I talk to Daniel, the more I want to talk. And in turn, the more I want to get to know him. I guess that I want to go out with him, just to see what it's like- a casual date. Though I am very confused if he is interested in giving that a shot. That's why Amy was after him. I wanted her opinion, and she got oh so close to asking him that, though she did get him to say that he was ready to date... BAD AMY
I then headed to bed after awhile and now have done not much today, though I've been up for quite awhile. I did clean my room, and I have helped pick up the house. I've done the shower thing, and soon I will get dressed and do my hair, then go outside and clean out my car. It's all just a matter of time. Daniel said he would try to call today- early this afternoon, I'm looking forward to it.
For those of you in, around, Indy, I will be there several times in Aug.
I need to take my air conditioner up there the 15th, I believe. I am also hoping to stick a few boxes in the closet or something. I still have to clear that with Roland, but I also still need both a dr's note and an air conditoner! I would also like a chance to clean my room, so that when my parents and I come up on the 22nd, moving takes all of 3 hrs- I've got people I want to hang out with, I'll unpack later.
I will be going up some point between the 14th and the 22nd to go to the State Fair. Though not the 17th :) Anyway, that's still undetermined as Daniel and I need to pick a day, and I am currently employed until Vigo Co School starts- which is the 17th. So either the 18th or 19th. I am excited about the fair. The only ride I will ride is the ferris wheel, and I want to convince Daniel that even though carnys only have 3 teeth, we can ride the ferris wheel.
Then Jennie asked if I would help her move in on the 20th, and that sounds like a possibility for me to help out. :) Besides, it's another day in Indy, and maybe I will go shopping after that. I need to go shopping. I want to check out Kohl's... I've been saying that for months, it's a 50 mile drive to PTown, GO FOR IT MIKA :)
So pretty much everyone who is in Indy and is available any/all of those days must see me- make it worth while for me to come up there :)
Anyway, I'm off to get dressed, and ready to go out and clean out my car. My dad is done outside for a bit, so I can leave the phone with him (he's on call, i'm not psycho)
