Oh yes, a few short Kaitlin anecdotes.
I put in a disc of Star Trek: TNG and Kaitlin asked me what I was watching. "Star Trek, honey." "Is that the one with Darth Vader?"
While watching the episode she saw the transporter effect. "Mommy, why do they have magic?" "Well, honey, it's not magic, it's just in the future so they know how to do a lot of things we can't do yet." Time passes and we see the effect again. "SEE! I TOLD you they have magic!"
