(no subject)
Kaitlin has had a cough on and off for a few weeks now and it's been worse the last couple of days. Josh noticed her being kind of wheezy last night and she had a low fever so we took her in to the doctor today. Looks like it's viral, but they gave us an inhaler for her to use to help her breathing and coughing. Since she's so small she gets a face mask thing to wear to use it and she hates that, but it's supposed to get better once she realizes that using that helps her.
The downside of it all is that it might be related to allergies and since Josh is so badly allergic to dust mites it is likely that Kaitlin will inherit that allergy. I've put an ad on craigslist for a place in Albany without carpets, but since I can't pay any more than what we're paying now I'm not optimistic.
In the meantime we're going to be slowly replacing our bookcases with ones with doors and I'm trying to keep up on the vacuuming.
Josh goes on a business trip starting Thursday and he will be gone for an entire week. I don't think I've done a week with just me and Kaitlin before, but the three days I did back in April weren't too bad, so I guess I'll cope.
