The Future

It's July 23rd, summer is about 2/3 over, and in a little over a month I go back to school. So what's in store for me for the future?
Tomorrow, the 24th, probably at around 7am, I'm making the 3-hour trek up to camp once again, hoping to get up there in time for holy communion during divine liturgy. I'll be staying up there for a week, doing the counselor thing, and coming home on July 31st, or possibly August 1st if I decide to stay over Andoni's house in Marshfield that Sunday night. Then, I will have almost exactly one month left of summer. September 2nd I believe I'm moving back into school, which as usual is a week later than most colleges.
Other upcoming events: American Scholarship Foundation gave me a scholarship so I have to go to this ridiculous reception thing at the Aquafor on... Thursday, August 11th. Which sucks, because I was considering going up to camp for that whole week if I'm not working. Anyways, I'll still manage to get back up there for the weekend of August 12th to the 14th.
During that time in which I'm home, I imagine I'll be taking more random assignments from Jobpro, working as much as possible. Rian's gal Shelby is coming up too, so hopefully we can all hang out and I won't get lyme disease again...
Sometime in the month of August I plan on making a few day trips or overnights to some places for a change of scenery and reconnecting with friends. I want to visit Alex's beach house in Old Lyme (or is it East Lyme?), Captain Scot Jandley on Long Island (one of my roommates for next year), and Newport, RI, because I haven't missed a year since I was 6 years old. Maybe a few little picnics here and there as well, and a trip with my family to Springfield to check out the new Dr. Seuss stuff and as usual the museums, since I'm a history nerd.
If I have enough money by the end of the summer, I want to buy an iPod, seems like I'm the only one who doesn't have one. Or maybe I'll get one of the cheaper other brands of mp3 players. What's the difference? Anyone know?
I also want to get to the movie theaters more often, even though it's kind of a waste of $9.75, but I've so far only been once this summer, and there's so many movies out now. The one I saw was the Devil's Rejects and that was last night. Analysis? Majorly twisted. A few laughs here and there, though.
This summer was certainly filled with its disappointments, but a few enjoyable times and good friends here and there have redeemed it to a certain extent.
I'm really looking forward to the upcoming schoolyear. Vanderslice 203, the awesome kids who reside inside, videogames, making movies, learning Greek, late night food, not taking the Newton bus, getting to know my actor roommate Jeff better, meeting new people, leading Nintendo Club to glory in its 2nd year, being treasurer of Orthodox Christian Fellowship of BC, getting involved in other ways, letting my hair continue to grow, snow (yes, i love it), keeping in touch with my friends steve, brendan, matt perry, and everyone else. And this year, no losing my hat again, because they're becoming very hard to find! Toning down the crunktation, but still having a great time.
And everyone must visit me this year! I promise you won't be disappointed.

And on that note, I bid you all adieu.
