urgh
have to read read read everything. gather it up, keep it in there suck it away. pointless though i'm ruined for it. i heard you can never get the accents and sounds of japanese right unless you were brought up speaking it. the throat shaped to phrases. kinda like that. my parents should have been 'wealthy americans' and privately schooled me with tutors and huge libraries and have me reading shakespeare before i was nine and writing sonnets by the time i was six so i could dissent from form and be a genius.
oh well.
recieved etymological dictionary today. real treat. morons at amazon cancelled my first order and refunded me so i had to buy it again for more expensive. expedited shipping, extra money. shipping costs more than the stupid book.
so have been putting together words with other words that i like. lists too. spent thirty minutes on one sentence. tried out all the ways to phrase it. only came out with one sentence though. 30 mins. pointless. bad anyway. thought of a great (it seemed) line last night during the pains of sleep and was stupid and didn't write it down. something about sums.
d. comes over in six days. then to warshingtone till the fourth. then. then. then. then. then possibly. but do i? possibly not. becomes featherbed mountain.
would like to visit berkeley again. love/hate it. gutterpunks solving rubiks cubes on the streets for food too far away though. six owahs!
a woman asked me if i was registered to vote today at the bookstore. couldn't believe it. 'really???' '...yeah...' didn't, i think, believe it.
