Art dump

Last Friday, at work, my computer was busy performing a rather lengthy operation so I pulled out a sheet of paper and started doodling.

These are characters from a 2D platformer I was working on last year. They are, left to right: Pari (fairy), Shabah (earth spirit), Shahrazad (the main character, obviously a human), and Phoenix. Yes, I am in desperate need of bird-drawing lessons.

Three months ago, I had to stop developing the game (for various reasons, most of which involved getting paid to write software as opposed to doing it just for fun). I never found the motivation to start working on it again, but my subconscious has been gently nudging me ever since. These nudges come in the form of character designs that flash through my mind every time I'm sketching, as depicted above.

I don't know. Should I resurrect the project? I really want to, but the fear of failure looms, menacing as ever...

P.S.: I have had it with these motherfucking seeds in these motherfucking bananas.
