Also, I'm really into Whistle Down the Wind right now, which we could maybe do at SMA if it weren't so darned religious. I mean, we're more likely to be permitted to do a religious show, but we'd be made fun of for it. It really is a shame, though, because I'm basically born to play Swallow. Basically.
Also, I cannot figure out that stupid math problem solving thing. I went to talk to Ms. Berger and she was no help at all. She was just all, "Well, I gave you a hint, so you should use that." And it's like, well, duh. I've been using the hint, and I think if I were ever going to figure out this stupid problem, I would have done so already.
EDIT: There were some good times today, too, though. Such as Malachi claiming in history that once Ms. Goebel started talking about John Wilkes Booth, she could "hear [my] face", even from her place in the back of the room. I'm flattered, truly.
Further good times:
Shannon: Okay, now do the scene without words, just saying 'apples' or 'oranges.'
Me: Apples... apples apples.
Cecily: Well, where did you leave it?
Me:...
Cecily's a cool kid, guys. And we're very awesome partners in performance theater because it is not Meisner. Otherwise I would drag the both of us down to flailing, floundering levels of poor, poor acting. Fortunately, that is not the case.
