"If we don't get a hand, you'll have to stand for one that's canned."

I had a positive experience today, which most of you probably heard about at lunch, but that's okay.

So I was in TA, and one of the janitors (you know, the guy who's sort of blondish?) came in to move some cabinet or something, and I happened to be standing in his way so I moved, and suddenly he was like, "Are you rehearsing for a play right now?" And I, confused, was like, "Uh... no?" And he asked, "Is one coming up?" And I, again confused, asked, "Uh, I guess so, yeah." And he said, "What is it this year?" and I answered, "Antigone." He said, "Oh, Antigone! Are you going to be the lead again this year?" And I, completely caught off guard, answered, "Yeah, I guess so!" And he said, "I bet you will be," then continued to do whatever he was doing to the cabinet thing.

It was just so nice. Firstly, I had no idea the janitors went to the plays, and I'm secondly amazed that he'd even remember or recognize me at all, much less almost an entire year later. It really made me feel good. The janitors are all so nice.

Marians was good. There are sooo maanny of us. But! She said we might get to tour this year or next year, which would be AMAZING. Touring with a show or choir is sort of my secret dream.

Also, a Canadian movie about the fictional assassination of President Bush has just gotten a US distribution deal. It sounds awesome and I really want to see it.

I also want to see:
- Marie Antoinette
- This Film Is Not Yet Rated
- The Science of Sleep
- Accepted (is that still in theaters?)
- Snakes On a Plane! I can't believe I haven't seen that yet.
- Hollywoodland (shh)
- more stuff I can't think of right now... lots of previews I've seen lately look really cool

marians, movies, antigone
