So I saw THE WHITE TIE AFFAIR, INNERPARTYSYSTEM, THE MEDIC DROID, and KILL HANNAH on Friday night.

I forgot to bring my camera to take pictures, but idc because most of the bands weren't that great. I would've loved to get pictures of the INNERPARTYSYSTEM light show, though!

But I guess it was... decent. Def. not my favorite show, though. :|

First of all, it was not a hardcore show. There were a lot of teeny-boppers there, who I loathe entirely. And there was one group in particular that pretty much had us surrounded on all sides that Emily and I elbowed a whole bunch. |D SRSLY, THEY WERE HARRASSING ONE OF THE KILL HANNAH TECHS WHO WAS TRYING TO SET UP.

The girl who was next to me with lolcuts on her wrists kept yelling at the guy to give them water, and I was like, "lol u guyz go buy ur own" and she was like "BUT I ALREADY BOUGHT TWO."

Jesus Christ, my one bottle that I bought before the show lasted all the way to the end. I guess it's because I go to concerts all the time, so I know how to not waste water. LOL AND. We decided to bring those Crystal Lite On-the-Go packets with us, and honestly? Warm fruit punch is infinitely better than warm water. ( ̄▽ ̄აა)

THE WHITE TIE AFFAIR was actually pretty decent! The singer was chillin' on the side of the stage and talking to our little group before they went on, and he was telling us about this weird chick who gave him a bracelet that said "FUCK YOU" or something on it. And when they played, the guitarist had a "Why so serious?" tattoo across his collarbone and beatboxed during one of the songs. I lol'd.

INNERPARTYSYSTEM was the only band Emily and I wanted to see, and they were fantastic. Omg their light show. @v@ Emily said it rivaled Tool's, but I never got to see Tool, so I'll just go on believing her, and call it amazing. I ACTUALLY HAD NO IDEA WHAT ANY OF THEM LOOKED LIKE BEFORE SEEING THEM ON STAGE. I wanted the singer's hat.

Lol THE MEDIC DROID. It's everyone's favorite overplayed song! Old news: I hate hate hate them. /brb lynched. I listened to them when I was young and naïve and they only had Fersure Maybe out, but then when we introduced the song to our friends they started singing it all the time, and we got sick of it fast! All the other songs went downhill from there, I think. But I think a lot of the little teeny-boppers were there to see them, because they were all basically creaming their panties when he started abusing the sexy robot voice. :|

My favorite part was when a dude was brought up on stage and he asked a girl from my school to go to prom with him and they played Happy Boys and Girls by Aqua for a bit. Want to know why it was my favorite part? Because Chris wasn't singing. Or even on stage, for that matter. It was a pleasant break. |D And a muscle in my throat cramped up because I kept screaming "fuck you", "I hate you", "go die in a fire", etc. It still hurts when I try to tilt my chin back. ): It must have been teeny-bopper voodoo.

KILL HANNAH wasn't bad either! The tranny guitarist in front of us seemed pretty srs biz though and I don't think he smiled once during their set, but whatever. And idk if the singer was having a bad hair day, or if his hair is always curly and jewfro-ey. And he talks the way he sings! It made me smile. c|

I was pretty sure that he was going to be raped by all of the fangirls whenever he leaned into the crowd, because they were rubbing their hands all over his stomach and chest and crotch, and I thought one of them was even trying to unbutton his pants. Many lols ensued.

And we didn't even get beat up, which was disappointing! I love coming home with bruises and waking up and not being able to move! That's what the whole concert-going experience is about!
