The last couple days have been off and on. Yesterday was pretty good. I spent most of the day with friends. We ate at Red Robin and ran into Seeriana + MTL Steve. We had the RR employees sing their birthday song to him for embarrassment purposes. The rest of the night held the making of pasta, salad, and bread and consequently the consumption of said items. Afterward, the movie that was chosen to be viewed was Hedwig and the Angry Inch. Afterward, I had a nice conversation with the most amicable ginger I know. Some slight awkwardness followed, but nothing to put a damper on the day.
Flash forward to today. Not really terrible by any account, but I did have to rise at 5:00AM to take my roommate to the airport. After coming home, I went back to bed and got up around noon. I cleaned up the remnants from last night's dinner and proceeded to pal around with my previously mentioned ginger buddy. Then the little things started happening. I was asked to help with a household chore and when I began, I unwittingly kicked over a bottle of Gatorade that was sitting on the floor, hidden up against the couch. I was blamed for that. Later on, I stepped on a mattress that was on the floor and again unwittingly spilled a soft drink that someone had set on it. This I was not blamed for, but still felt rather put off. The icing on today's shit flavored cake is that after going for a short bicycle ride with Ginger, as I was locking my bike I hit my mouth against the frame accidentally. It hurt for just a moment, as such things do, but I thought nothing of it until I got inside and realized I felt something strange on my teeth. I thought initially that perhaps some paint had come off the frame and was stuck on my teeth, but the truth is I chipped one of my front teeth. It's nothing major and does not require medical or dental attention of any kind, but is cosmetically unsettling. I have half a mind to file the other half of it down to match. This is undecided at the moment.
I'm having some trouble with things as of late.
