"Oh uh...hey." Falcon said, looking up from the latest batch of paperwork and smiling a little. "Shut the door behind you, huh?"
In the week after their argument and decision, the Captain had found it much easier to throw himself wholeheartedly into other tasks and think little of Ollie. Not that he didn't think about what had happened, just that while they were on "hiatus", he could go back to what it was like when they were just friends.
It was nice.
And it certainly didn't mean Ollie was unwelcome in his office. "What's up?"
"Oh, alright then." He went back to close the door.
He really didn't want to bother Falcon, he seemed significantly less upset this week and that alone made Olimar happy. "Well, I'm still trying to make vague plans for class next school year." With each year it seemed to get easier teaching his subject. No, not just because his understanding of the written English language has improved.)
Falcon moved around his office furniture and took a seat, propping his feet up on the desk. "Me too." He said, gesturing to a few disorganized piles of papers and gradebooks. "How have you been?"
Olimar didn't respond immediately, mostly just to think of something that wouldn't bring up any hard feelings likes talking about planning time for the pikmin sisters but that would be silly because it partly has to do with him as well.
"I'm doing alright. After this whole nonsense about the cruise, I don't really want to go so I'll be staying here, I think Aviana wants the celebration we've been hoping for that keeps getting delayed. I'm sure Ionia wants you to come. I do too."
He raised an eyebrow. "You're not going on the cruise?"
Falcon found himself a bit...disappointed by that. It was an opportunity for the two of them to be together, why would Ollie pass that up. "I'd think you'd want to go. I mean..." A cough. "We'd probably be able to get some alone time. Room together like at the hot springs."
He laughed, "No no that's not why I didn't want to go." For a moment they just exchanged eye contact and Olimar decided to answer Falcon. "Samus and a few others were asking me to go and I was pretty willing to decline but... if you'd like. I'll go. After all the hot springs trip was great." His face softened to a smile. "I didn't know you were going."
"Well why didn't you want to go?" He asked, leaning over the desk and propping his chin in his palm.
Falcon had to smile a little when Ollie mentioned the hot springs. It seemed so unbelievably long ago. "I was only going to go if you or Samus were going."
Olimar nodded, "Well first off. I know something always goes wrong with anything our school tries to host."
"Second off, my decision would have been entirely based on if certain people were going." While that was also directed at any of the girls going in an attempt to keep an eye on them it was for the time being directed more personal.
He picked up a pencil and started idly tapping it against the wood surface of the desk. "I dunno...I'll try to keep everything under control. Everything I can, anyway."
Olimar nodded, "Yes I really do hope nothing too terrible happens." He stopped to flash a kind grin. "I believe you. I wish sometimes there were more I could do to help in situations... Hahah..."
"Hm?" It was about then Falcon realized his desk was still covered in papers. "Oh..yeah. Just reorganizing for the new year. Nothing really exciting. How are things for you?"
Open or Closed?: Oly wants it closed ( ... )

He shrugged. "Just saying."

"Well hey, you watch the girls all the time. You do a lot."

"What about you then? How have things been besides just organizing papers?"

Resisting any urge to just burst out in laughter Olimar tried to respond. "Are we going to keep going in circles?"
