I didn't know until Thursday that I had Good Friday as a paid day off from work. My response: "Every Friday is good... but this one is SUPER good." And it was! Jeff and I woke up at 9am (sleeping in, for me) and both sat in bed with our laptops until 9:30... then we got up and I started cleaning. I was actually LOOKING FORWARD to cleaning. During school, we have a maid come once a month but since we moved she hasn't been around. I wish I had time to clean, I really do enjoy it. Then I made sandwiches and chips and ate it out on the patio. It was such a nice day. I did eight loads of laundry, took a relaxing bath, and then watched Breakfast at Tiffany's while Jeff took a nap. When Jeff woke up it got to the part where Holly Golightly is making Chicken and Saffron rice for "Fred," and that sounded pretty good. Ironically, we had saffron rice and veggie chicken, so Jeff made that for us. After dinner it was about time to head out to my parents' house (because we are leaving for Vegas tomorrow morning with them). On the way to Corona I met up with some old friends, hung out with Travis for a while. Now I'm sitting on the couch with my dad, we're both playing Solitaire on our laptops and watching some documentary on Jesus. Next week is Spring Break and I am pretty pleased about that... this semester isn't even a fraction as brutal as my last but I have a terrible case of senioritius and just can't wait to graduate already. Our new place is coming together more and more every week and is starting to feel like home. Here are some pictures of some random things:

Where all the... magic... happens?

An inherited gift from Jeff's great aunt... this table is from 1913!!

A bench in our bedroom, the painting above it is also from Jeff's great aunt... who had fantastic taste in art

Also from Jeff's great aunt... she was quite the collector!

I'll post more when we get the rest of our furniture in the mail!
