Most frustrating damn round of UT2K4 I've ever played
and it lasted forever. See if you can figure out why it was frustrating.
I guess using auto adjust skill level isn’t a good idea when you’re playing with and against bots. It makes your bots suckier and suckier the better you do and their better. I couldn’t destroy a node and take out the next one because my bots couldn’t get thier thumbs out of their asses long enough to pull a trigger. Once you get to that last one it’s especially hard because there’s only one logical thing for the CPU only team TO do. My thumb in ass bots however were over near my power core singing camp fire songs and roasting marshmallows with their link guns even though I used the voice menu to command them to attack. Grrr...
Can’t wait to get proper high speed again so I can get my ass kicked by real people with aim bots and sniper rifles online

I looked at the screen shot again, went to confirm, “auto adjust skill level” seems to be a UT99 thing, didn’t see that in here, moved them to adept. I guess I was a victim of “Bots Balance Teams”. I keep UT99 on auto adjust. I have 100 ft Ethernet cable I stretch to the living room to play my cousin with. My bots are autoadjusted to “godlike” and I never remember to set it lower when I play my cousin. He’s developed a bad habbit of playing a tournament team game only on Deck 16 in UT99. Between his bot team mates running interfearance and him using nothing but the sniper rifle he only thought he was good. I told him outright he would get his ass kicked by real people online. It took a couple of sessions for me to prove it. I even played his map by his rules on the opposite team. I admit he’s a damn good sniper (to much practice) but I showed him who was boss even though I lost my head more than a few times doing it. Now he insist on teaming up against bot only teams, he wont play against me. I don’t like that since it’s to easy. We’re going to have fun once those paychecks get in and I show him how bad he’s going to get stomped online. Gonna have to use his offline use only CDs to install his copy on my grandparents machine so we can play 2K4 also. He thinks he’s good because of how well he can cheese the bots with a couple of vehicles and camping. He just doesn’t learn.
