I thought I was going to a well rendered kids movie. I did. But this kids movie has the potential to get as many awards as The Fellowship of the Ring did. It was the first time I've ever been to an all digital theatre before, that part was awesome. The movie was better. The rendering was beautiful, the movie was touching, eye opening, and entertaining. There's a couple of parts that are nearly tear jerking, the whole movie will keep a kid and an adult entertained for the same, and sometimes different reasons.
Go see it. Don't teater on the edge, see it.
To put it into perspective I've seen a lot of kids movies lately, Over the Hedge, Cars, Open Season, and Flushed Away to name a few. None hold a candle to this movie. Billy Christal/Peter Jackson Oscar potential. It's like Braveheart for kids.
