i'm sorry for my lack of enthusiasm for the last couple of days. people keep saying "i hope you feel better" and "i hope your day gets better". but the truth is, i actually have 3 major issues facing me as soon as i get back to school. this journal is not the place to discuss two of them, but the least significant of the 3 is the numerous applications i have to fill out and mail for summer internships. they are all due in february, one on feb 1st. they require essays, transcripts, recommendations, interviews, and the actual applications, so i have a lot to do. when i add that to the other more significant things, it's a lot to deal w/ the moment i get back to school. and if i'd rather not deal w/ reality for a bit longer, that's just how it is. i'll try not to be gloomy, but i'm feeling a bit overwhelmed.

oh and more importantly, jon stewart used ::awkward:: in an almost mike mcconnell way for 2 days in a row. he had no ::ssss:: or the hand motion, but the way he said awkward, was so mcconnell that it was absolutely fantastic.

ew and 99.1 WHFS, the ONLY station worth listening to in baltimore/annapolis area, is GONE. it's now 99.1 elZol...a SPANISH station!!! they replace good alternative rock w/ SPANISH!!! we already HAVE a spanish station!! *#@% i am never listening to the radio ever again! it's like erasing part of my adolesence.
