A weekend of eventfulness....

So, been a while since I've been on this.....

FRIDAY - Went on the Quassy Park trip w/ Sycamore Camp. It wasn't as bad as I thought it was gonna be, but these kids make me question their common sense and intelligence on a daily basis. Didn't rain all day, but the minute we got back, it came down in buckets for about 5 mins....then stopped. When I got home, I came to realize that one of the huge oaks in my backyard had fallen over, missing my house by about 12 feet...Which is a little scary since the tree it hit on the way down is looking kinda iffy now, and that one is tall enough to reach my bedroom window without any trouble....

Afterwards, went to Vic's boss's place to have a BBQ on chill out by the lake with a fire....the place was freaking amazing. Hopefully his boss will go on vacation more often so we can use his place again.

SATURDAY - Went down to NYC with Vic, John, Dustin, Albert, Terri, Kathy, and Christina to go check out the Bodies exhibit. It was freaky to say the least....I mean, when you are looking at the entire circulatory system of a 9 year old child, it kinda puts you off.....Still, it was pretty amazing to see what we look like....all meaty and squishy...

After that, we decided to hit up BRICK LANE CURRY HOUSE. I had been talking about it for a long time to go down there and order the Phaal, which is a curry soo hot that should you complete it, you get your picture taken to go on the wall of fame and get a free beer....Well, the rest of them chickened out, but I decided to get it....and let me tell you.....those people don't fuck around! That was quite possibly the worst pain I have ever experienced while eating something....it was so hot, the chef had to wear a respirator while cooking it.....The entire time I was trying to force this shit down, the waiters and manager were coming over to give me words of advice....or rather....advice to keep them from having someone throw-up and pass out in their resturant....most of that advice involved laughing and giving me free stuff to try to cut the heat.....After about an hour and a half, I got about 90% done with it before I decided to throw in the towel....if I ate any more, I was definatly going to throw up....and besides, I wanted to enjoy the hookah bar afterwards.....After we left, we decided to head to Sahara East, minus Al, Terri, Kathy, and Christina......stayed there for a lil bit, had a great time.....On the way back to my apartment, we were standing on the subway when we see these two drunk guys passed out on top of each other sitting on the train.....about 5 mins into the ride, the big guy gets up and stumbles outside inbetween the cars and proceeds to throw up gallons....while this was going on, his friend, now sitting straight up but still passed out, begins to throw up all over himself, causing everyone around him to run away in disgust and total shock-laughter....it was terrible, yet the reaction of people around him was priceless.....sigh....all in all, it was a great night....

SUNDAY - Wake up to realize that the P'haal was coming back for it's last hurrah.....spent most of the day doubled over and in the bathroom trying to ride it out.....round 4 o'clock, I got soo dehydrated I kept thinking I was gonna pass out, so I just decided to lay down....after that, I just spent the rest of the day doing the housemaid deal....

This weekend was fucking amazing.....despite the events of today....
I'm starting to realize that summer is coming to a close and everyone is gonna be heading back off to school.....
There are a lot of people that I've been meaning to go see, but I just haven't had the time to do it....
...I'm trying to remedy that, since camp is over in 2 weeks....

The camp show is in 2 weeks, so me and Al are gonna start working on the song we plan on playing there....
I'm pretty sure that it's gonna get us fired, but considering this is out last year working there, we can afford to say what we have to say about the current administration there....
This year, Sycamore had gone down the shitter when it comes to how it's run.....kids are unhappy, we're unhappy, and the quality of the camp is just plain shitty.....
Next year, we're planning on either heading over to Kiwi or Harvey camp.....the pay is better, and from what I've heard, the camps are better also....

....god, I'm freaking bored....

Well, I guess it is time for that whole passing out thing again.....
If you're not doing anything tomorrow, come and drop by Sycamore.....hop in on a kickball game....fun fun....
Besides, anything is better than being stuck there all by me onesies....
