eating passover BREAD
okay so i have decided passover is the most fucked up holiday ever. We aren't supposed to eat leavened bread because the jews escaping egypt didnt have time to add the yeast and all that shit. But, because our society is so comfort-based, we have found a way to get around this little issue for the one week by making bread/cakes/cookies/muffins etc. that do not use yeast, very amusing. So i just had a muffin...my mom made it, of course....and they're actually pretty good. Besides the weirdness though, passover is by far my favorite holiday. Not the whole thing, just our 2 seders...they're amazing. Only because my family (the over 30 of us there) is amazing....each person is funny in their own way and the whole night is so much fun. We have at least one song for everything in the haggadah, and it is absolutely pertinent to say everything in hebrew and english....so all this adds up to a night lasting about 6ish hrs long, but i enjoy immensly. It might even be one of my favorite nights of the year.
So seder #1-i spill grapejuice allllll over me and my friend hallie. And my skirt was ugly anyway, but hers was this really cute brown/green one, and first she was mad i spilled, but then the purple looked really cool on it...tres funny. seder #2-they make me have this ridiculously small cup, and the only other person with a small cup was perry. all i can say...i felt oooold. lol. Also, this kid tthat used to stalk me was randomly at the seder, and one day awhile ago bc i had been ignoring him he was like well if you dont ever want to talk to me again then jsut say so....and i was like fine i dont llike you go away......which was bitch MAJOR of me and i felt really bad after, but needless to say....those awkward moments when we both glanced up at the same time....not fun.
Moving back in time....miami was sooo much fun. The weather is perfects there, and the beaches are awesome, the shopping is mazing too......my family wants to move there. Fri night i hung out with emily and jill, we went to cheesecake factory for dinner, saw the prince and me....good times. then sat i picked up my camp friend and we southbeached it then went to the grove for dinner adn walking around, then i slept at her hosue. Sun we had a tour of university of miami...its like a resort there...... we all loved it..so matt is def going there next year. which is really exciting bc ill go visit him alot...and my 2 friends go therre so ill see them too.
Today we ahd a track meet...it went really well....prob bc the weather was so nice. i wanted to tan...i am very upset about the non tan i got this break.....i was only in the sun for like 3 hrs befoer i got incredibly burnt and then had to wear 50 spf the other days and hide in the shade. meh i'm in the mood for a passover choc chip cookie. they're also pretty good.
