Getting ready to go help eldest pack up her rental house in order to temporarily move back home with us. She's going to graduate school in Denver, CO, in September. We'll move her out there at the end of August, and she'll start classes and a work study job right after Labor Day. I'm so proud of all that she's been able to accomplish: She's gotten almost all her school costs covered by either scholarship, grant, or the work study. She'll still have to take out some student loans, which is worrying my poor husband to death, but she's been very blessed.

It'll be nice, but strange, to have all 3 girls home together again for a few weeks. That hasn't happened for more than a few days at a time in 5 years! Of course, middlest will be going back to college herself at the middle of August. She's very ready. She delights in telling me how boring we are and how she can't wait to get back to her friends. And boyfriend. *sigh*

My poor Pebbles kitty is at the vet. She's approximately 15 years old, and often has a lot of vomiting, which is usually controlled by anti-emitic and allergy shots. But it's happening more and more often now, and she was really feeling bad this morning. She actually growled and hissed at me when I tried to take her out of her carry box at the vet. They're going to do bloodwork again and try to get a urine sample. She has to stay overnight, which I don't like at all. Usually, every time I sit down she's up in my lap, so I'm missing her already.

And youngest is at church camp for a week, which she is super excited about. It's so hot here, that I kind of worry about the kids being outside so much, especially since the "swimming hole" is all but dried up. At least the cabins are air-conditioned.

But I need to get off here now. Oldest keeps texting me, telling more things I need to bring with me, plus she's hoping I'll take her out to lunch. And I think I will! Middlest stayed with her last night, so lunch with two of my girls sounds good to me!
