A day of shopping and planning
My Mom has been in town for the last few days, and so with a day off of work we hit a couple malls in the search of outfits for herself and another gown for me on the big day. Went to Markville, tried on a ball gown that was a maybe, hit up Fairview and saw two dressy possibilities, and then made a last stop at Bayview Village in which I tried on nothing but Mom found one or two ideas. Well, no, she found a really nice set at Sunny Choi - but she's debating whether or not it's worth the price tag, even though it looks awesome on her.
We sneaked some pics of the dresses at the beginning of our shopping trip, but as we went to more stores there were more hands-on help from the staff, and fewer inner mirrors in the changing rooms. I forgot to grab the pics off of Mom's camera, so I'll ask her to email them to me.
The last couple of days have also been guest list maintenance, and what a job that is. Especially when there are people getting added left, right, and center. Actually, on my side of the family we've made a few cuts - but Vario's side has been making a lot of additions. This only means more invitations, and more paper. *sigh* It's like a never-ending thing. The guest list is sitting over 400 people. *gulps*
