I ghetto-screenprinted a TARDIS today, on a tshirt and on a case I'm making for my BRAND NEW COMPUTER, guys! That's right. It's an HP laptop... with a touch screen. Yep. See see
Anyway, I got all the improvisional screenprinting stuff yesterday (hoop and paint) at our massive excursion to the supply store. And this is what I did today instead of working on my literature essay.
1. I made the TARDIS stencil, involved installing my printer. I prepared my tshirt and stuff.
2. I cut off a stocking leg and put it on the hoop, I cut off the extra side. I then traced the TARDIS stencil on the stocking. Then I painted glue onto it.
3. I set that outside to dry. I started to made the case for my computer with a bunch of leftover blue material from something. I folded it so that it was four layers and I sewed it together that way. I put in a few peices of felt between layers for padding. I sewed the top so that I can put in some sort of drawstring later.
4. So a while later the Tardis had more or less dried and stuff, so I decided it was time to do it! I grabbed a spare peice of felt for the tester.
And it turned out more or less okay so I went ahead and did the tshirt and the case.
5. I set them out to dry and I took pictures. Ta-da!
6. I added a string to the bag.
The end!
