19 days and counting...
Vacation time is drawing near and I can hardly breathe from the excitement of it. My every waking thought is about getting on that plane with my family and landing on a beautiful island in the middle of the ocean. Warm welcoming breeze blowing in my hair, the smell of salt heavy in the air, the clear blue water...those thoughts help me get through each day.
Then there is the reason we are going to this wonderful tropical place...Wolf and I are celebrating our 10 year anniversary! I think of the people who read this, Darren is the only one who was there for our wedding but I think he will agree that it was a most magical day. We were surrounded by the people we loved most in the world, all helping us to celebrate the day that I had been waiting my whole lifetime for. I was marrying the man who truly is my other half. We share the same brain, we finish each others sentences, we know the other better than we know ourselves. We have grown up together, have helped shape who the other has become - having him in my life makes me feel whole. My heart is full, my knees are weak, my eyes sparkle. I am sure I have said all of this before but I will continue to say it, to infinity and beyond. For 16 years I have had the privilege of having this most amazing man in my life and I look forward to our future with excitement and contentment.
