Napoleon & Josephine
At the time of her marriage to Napoleon, Josephine's few remaining teeth resembled black cloves and heavy makeup masked dark circles under her eyes. Napoleon, however, was smitten with his new bride. "I love her to the point of madness and I cannot be separated from her," he once declared. On another occasion, he remarked that she had the finest bottom he had ever seen.
Unfortunately, Josephine may not have felt the same ardor for her husband. He suffered from scabies and his face was often covered with foul-smelling sores. Nor was Napoleon a particularly good lover. Later mistresses reported a three-minute time limit and a tendency to remove no clothing other than his sword. Moreover, the diminutive emperor was not exactly well-endowed. At the time of his death, Napoleon's (admittedly disease-riddled) penis measured approximately one inch in length.
