http://www.britishbigcats.org/ THEY SAY: The British Big Cat Society fully recognises the need for research in finding evidence that may prove conclusively that large exotic cats are indeed not only surviving but thriving here in the UK.

How is it possible that a place as small and heavily populated as Britain could possibly not notice they have leopards roaming the countryside. I mean it's apparently all speculation. Kind of like our sasquatch, only many, many 'big cats', as they call them, have been shot and killed and photographed. How can anyone think they don't have leopards. How could they have passed these animals over? It's one thing to not have discovered a tiny new variation of fruitfly that only live in bogs or something, but to only now be saying they need to investigate the possibility that big cats are living in Brittain is beyond me. Canada is massive and vastly unpopulated, and although I don't claim that we know of every animal out there, we certainly know about the wildcats here.
