And finally, just so we end on a truly disturbing note, the latest issue of Vanity Fair includes a bizarre story from gossip maven Joanna Molloy centering on Kirstie Alley and a pet possum. Warning: We urge you to put down all food products before reading this. Seriously. Ready? Molloy recalls that several years ago, the actress was at an event with her pet possum when the furry animal started to squeak with hunger. Kirstie, cooing "Mommy's here," looked at her publicist and asked, "Say, aren't you nursing a baby right now?" Don't worry, it's not that bad. The rep was apparently afraid of the possum's choppers, so she expressed some milk into a bottle for its lunch. OK, it really was that bad. Sorry. Anyway, Molloy tells the mag that she thought she'd be laughed at when she called to verify the story. Instead, the publicist confirmed the dairy aid and added, "I'm proud of it."
