It is a depressing sight when a people, a nation, forgets it’s own history. We are all built on our memories, one and all. Our personalities are formed by what we have seen, experienced… and the same can be said for the land.

In the years of War, Vohemar did not win based off greater numbers, greater weaponry or even greater leaders. But they still “won” (if one assumes victory by achievement of your goal, in this case separation). Why is that? Personality, Memory. Vohemar remembered the “wrongs” done to it by Ivona, and that in turned shaped it’s feelings towards those also put on upon. Such as many breeds of demi-human. That quirk of personality won them the War. The demi-humans knew tactics, hiding places, routes of victory many humans never would consider.

Vohemar has forgotten itself in a cloud of fear.

I can not say if I agree or dis-agree with this legislation. My position matters little, for I am no politician, Vohemaro, nor demi-human. But to lose one’s self to fear, and in turn to press that fear onto others, is the greatest sign of weakness. I feel no sympathy for those caught in this net, especially those with the claws to cut free…
