Good Genes Challenge
GoS is doing another Good Genes Challenge and I had so much fun with the last one I thought I would participate again :)
The founder this time was Ithorian, who married a grownup version of:
The resulting three children looked like this:
Yeah, I have no idea what was up with their heads. They looked kinda creepy. I suppose that was the point. Anyway, as grownups they looked like this:
L-R: Grayson, Coleman, and Bob.
Seeing as Bob almost looked normal, I gave him some crazy news anchor hair and had him breed with an adult version of:
The resulting three children looked like this:
L-R: Maxwell, Myriam, Myrtle. ( I was using a random name generator, set to "Unique," hence the weird names. Except for Bob. That was all me.)
Anyway, I ALMOST chose Myriam as the next person to breed seeing as the CC skin had been bred out successfully. But as I looked closer at her, she looked almost exactly like Tessa Ramirez with Heather's nose. So I went with:

Because he's hot. Now here's a little BTS sort of thing: I was doing this in a backup version of my legacy 'hood which meant that Puck had altered genetics to reflect something I have in mind for my story. They threw me a baby with the altered genetics.
I reloaded without saving because I didn't want to give away any spoilers (for those who haven't read the Simspiration I did about him). Not to mention it probably would have gone against the spirit of the rules of the challenge. This occurred to me only after I bred him in. Oh! And it wasn't MAJOR alterations...just some strangeness in his recessive genes. I will laugh SO HARD if he and Erin throw me a baby like that.
(BTW, I totally laughed at Myrtle holding both babies. I didn't bother having everyone fall in love and get married this time).
ANYWAY, he and Myrtle had three children who looked like this:
L-R: Oscar, Liam, and Audra. Only Oscar got Puck's ears. In fact, Oscar was Puck EVERYTHING. Blah. So, the Sim who I decided to submit as my final entry was:
Audra (who is sporting my participation award from the last challenge) looked like almost everyone who had been bred in.
She has the founder's eyes, Tessa's mouth (at least I think it looks like Tessa's mouth), Heather's nose and hair color, and Puck's eyebrows. Do you think I can get my Legacy Sims to be so well blended? Nope. Absolutely not. >.<
She's also incredibly Nice but Serious...much like almost every other person in my legacy 'hood. I guess that's just how they roll.
So, this was a ton of fun and I really hope they do something like this again soon. I love playing with Sim genetics.
