Gen 6 Teens and minor pic spam
I finally have all the kids aged up and the 'hood backed up. I also played a little bit and have begun designing some sets for future updates.
First the general spam. I loaded up the main house (which I had saved right after Mary died) and came upon this sad scene.
Rhys, on the other hand, seemed perfectly content.
I decided to send him to the stores that Eden owns (but he works at) because I thought that he'd earn the perks. Nope. Found out that Eden does. Then I realized that the stores transferred to Eden were still level ten. And I also came to the realization that running businesses is incredibly boring. It only took me three generations to realize that. Worst yet, nobody in the neighborhood have enough badges to run the stores as managers, and I didn't want to play the businesses long enough to have someone earn enough badges.
But I took some pictures either way. Need some of it for the story after all.
I call this one: "I'm not being sent to an apocalyptic world." "You lucky bastard." "I know."
Paraphrased, of course.
"Max gives Rhys an A+"
This next artistic set I call: "You're awesome!" "I am? Thanks!" "Yeah! Buy my stuff!" "Okay, I will!"
The next piece is: "Buying stuff for McCrankypants Spider Jerusalem's birthday."
I don't know why I called it that. Probably because it was the imaginary conversation going through my mind; everyone was buying presents for Spider. *shrugs*
"I'm looking for something. Something with words. Kind of like the fanfic you see on the internet, but on paper. Bound with a heavy cover. Can you help me?"
This controversial yet groundbreaking piece of work is called "Marina almost doesn't fall for Rhys' sales pitch for pornographic novels, but in the end buys five."
"For the very short time Professor Butters was an employee, she managed to throw some inappropriate heart farts. Even Zane and Lillian were appalled."
And lastly: "Nothing makes Ang laugh harder at two in the morning than watching Sims do a Dance Off, Breakdance style."
Rhys, by the way, is doing that smirk I patented for him; the animation comes from the Poplocking option on the AL animation box.
Moving on to the set spam. Well, this one isn't exactly a set, it's Erin's bedroom (partially decorated). It looks cool and I think it fits the personality I have in mind for her. I also realize that the kids, when I last left them in the story, were newborns. Oh well.
The TS3 rabbit holes converted to neighborhood deco for Sims 2 look totally awesome in the game and I highly recommend them, especially if you want your practically empty photo shoot 'hood to look occupied, as is the case here.
This one came about because I wanted to see how some of the panoramic murals that I've seen around would look. It turned into a ballroom unintentionally. I spent an entire day setting it up just to see how it would all look, along with the reflective floors. I spent so much time on it, I decided that I absolutely need to use it for something. Maybe a prom scene, or a wedding reception (I'm leaning towards the latter).
More of the ballroom and more gratuitous Rhyden. It's the photo shoot 'hood and they live on this lot as it's where I have the red carpet stuff set up. They did the dancing on their own.
Actually, it was more Rhys stepping on Eden's foot constantly. But it was cute anyway.
And now for the kid spam!
First is Sadie Grunt. She hasn't been shown in the story yet (but was mentioned briefly). She's Ripp and Ophelia's daughter.
She rolled up Romance/Fortune and her LTW is to be the Hand of Poseidon.
Matthew Grunt, Buck and Jill's kid, Johnny's nephew, Sadie and Emily's cousin. He rolled Pleasure/Romance and his LTW is to have 20 Lovers.
Zachary Goth rolled Popularity/Fortune and his LTW is to be Captain Hero.
Ceres Marius (De and Cassius' kid) rolled Romance/Pleasure and her LTW is to be a Game Designer.
I love her outfit, but the little black thing on her left finger is really irritating.
Ashton Devereaux rolled Family/Knowledge and his LTW is to be an Education Minister.
Anna Fitzhugh (Spencer's daughter, Rhys' sister, Quinn, Erin, and Vaughn's aunt) is another Family/Knowledge Sim. Her LTW is to be Captain Hero.
I am a big fan of consolidating my households; I'm all about not having to play more houses than necessary because I am lazy like that. So in the instance of these four, I checked the compatibility in the crystal ball and saw that they came up for each other. This pleases me.
Emily Smith is Knowledge/Family and her LTW is to reach her Golden Anniversary. *sigh*
Aravis Fitzhugh (who is all Laurana in the face except for Vaughn's nose) is Family/Popularity and her LTW is to be a Cult Leader.
Fleetwood Fitzhugh (all Vaughn all the way facially) is Knowledge/Romance and his LTW is to be a Media Magnate.
Quinn Devereaux, I've mentioned before, is Romance/Family (like his dad, grandfather, and brother). UNLIKE the other three, though, he rolled the 20 Lovers LTW instead of a job related one.
You couldn't tell in the first picture of him, but I gave him braces. It'll be really hard to tell just in general because of the shape of the Goopy mouth he inherited from Eden.
And finally, there is Erin, the newest finger-gunning, naked hottubber in the neighborhood. She's Pleasure/Romance and her LTW is to WooHoo 20 Sims. >.<
I am not terribly fond of all the kids' clothes. I went on a huge downloading spree, but there isn't as much out there for teenagers (especially boys). I found enough, but...meh. I'm looking forward to them going to college so they can get their real clothes.
By the way, Eden is absolutely disgusting. She was stinking to high heaven when the kids aged up. I don't get into great detail about how sloppy she is, but the picture of her enjoying the smell of her own aroma says it all. Not that it will ever come up in the story; I'll stick with the messy eating habits and the slightly disheveled look she sort of has.
Erin, Quinn, and Rhys were very disgusted with her; the kids inherited Rhys' fondness/obsession for cleaning toilets you see.
And I'll end with a BAM! TOTALLY UNEXPECTED PICTURE OF LILLIAN! Dun dun dun dun duuuuuuuuunnnnnnnnn.....
Update will be coming eventually. It's been rather slow going, but I only have one full scene left to film and some minor filler to flesh another bit out. Everything else has already been laid out and organized and even partially written. Not much written, but at least better than nothing written at all.
